NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (June 6, 2019) Senior Chief Aviation Support Equipment Technician Jose Paulino, from New York, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) safety department, receives his senior chief cover from Senior Chief Aviation Electronics Technician Anthony Alabi during a frocking ceremony at Victory Arch. In all, eight chief petty officers assigned to the Navy's newest aircraft carrier were selected for promotion to senior chief petty officer.
