NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (June 6, 2019) Senior Chief Navy Counselor Jason Sain, from Ft. Myers, Florida, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) administration department, receives his senior chief cover from Master Chief Navy Counselor Nadine Fridy during a frocking ceremony at Victory Arch. In all, eight chief petty officers assigned to the Navy's newest aircraft carrier were selected for promotion to senior chief petty officer.
