Local Vietnamese men and team members from the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command use their hands to remove sediment from a stream bed in Binh Dinh province, Vietnam, March 14, 2012. The sediment will be screened and carefully inspected for any sign of osseous material or other evidence that can help identify a soldier missing from the Vietnam Conflict. JPAC's mission is to conduct global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
