Cpl. Anthony Ash, a helicopter mechanic with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267 uses arm signals to communicate with the pilots of the unit’s last AH-1W Super Cobra at Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 23. Ash, 22, from Newark, Del., directed the helicopter for it’s final takeoff with HMLA-267. Following the flight, the Cobra landed at HMLA-169. The Marines with HMLA-267 are converting to the AH-1Z Super Cobra after 25 years of using the ‘Whiskey.'
