Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267’s last AH-1W Super Cobra comes in for it’s final landing with the unit at Camp Pendleton, Calif., March. 23. The squadron is converting to the AH-1Z. They handed over the aircraft to HMLA-169 after their last flight with the ‘Whiskey.' “We’re no longer in the ‘Whiskey’ business,” joked Lt. Col. Matthew T. Mowery, the commanding officer of HMLA-267. “It’s a big deal for us, historically. This squad has flown the ‘Whiskey’ for 25 years.”
