Kevin Macleod, a geographic information system analyst with the South Carolina National Guard, shows Moldovan public affairs officers the satellite-fed GIS capabilities of SCOPE, which stands for South Carolina Common Operating Picture Enhanced, a trailer-borne command and control system used for emergency response. The Moldovans visited the SCOPE command post set up as part of an exercise held at Jasper County Airport here, April 13, 2012. Moldova is paired with the North Carolina National Guard as part of the guard's State Partnership Program.
