Emil “Batman” Conley, honorary B-2 pilot, Lee Summit, Missouri, and his mother Deitra watch a military working dog demonstration during the Pilot for a Day tour, on July 19, 2019, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Military working dogs possess a superior sense of hearing, visual motion detection and a crushing jaw strength of 238 pounds of pressure, making them a special asset to the U.S. Armed Forces. The Pilot for a Day program focuses on providing a child that is suffering with an illness the opportunity to tour Whiteman AFB and experience what it's like to be a B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber pilot. Whiteman AFB collaborates with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to coordinate these tours. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Thomas Barley)
