ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 24, 2019) — Fire Controlman 3rd Class Vincent J. Ramirez, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), is supervised by Gunners Mate 1st Class Bobby Jernigan, a crew-served weapon instructor aboard the ship, fires a 50-caliber gun during crew-serve weapons qualifications in the Atlantic Ocean, July 24, 2019. Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its seventh patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
