Donovan Stringer, an honorary 2nd Lt. and the 910th AW’s 66th Pilot for a Day honoree, sits in a survival raft on July 26, 2019, here. Stringer spent the day touring the different facilities at YARS and learning about their specific missions. The 910th AW began the Pilot for a Day program in 2000 as a community partnership with Akron Children’s Hospital and has since welcomed 66 children with chronic or life-threatening illness as honorees.
