The rifleman with Company L, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, participated in a two-week long training event focusing on new mission concepts, as the unit gets ready for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. The evolution features counter improvised explosive device training and practical application, advisor training, combat policing, key leader engagements and tactical sight exploitation.
