Chief Warrant Officer 3 Shawn Dunn from Carlsbad, Calif., will compete in the 2012 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 30-May 5. Dunn, 45, is a two-time team member who also serves on the Wounded Warrior Battalion West staff aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. Dunn will compete in swimming, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball.
More than 200 wounded, ill or injured service members from the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Special Operations Command are scheduled to compete in the Paralympic-style competition.
