PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Aug. 9, 2019) – Staff members from the Orthopedics Clinic, present their Orthopedic Technician booth during NMCP’s annual NEC Fair. Orthopedic technicians assist medical officers in application, removal and maintenance of all forms of casts and traction. They assist in minor operative procedures such as arthrocentesis, suture removal, dressing change, and insertion and removal of skeletal traction devices.
