ANNAPOLIS, Md. (September 13, 2019) Adm. William Moran, Vice Adm. Sean S. Buck, Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy, Capt. T.R. Buchanan, Commandant of Midshipmen, and LCDR Sean Cate, United States Navy (Retired) President of the Class of 1979 review the brigade as they march in the second formal parade of the school year. The parade also marked the retirement of the former Vice Chief of Naval Operations Adm. William Moran after thirty-eight years of service. As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the US.
