190927-A-DM672-1010 ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 27, 2019) Sailors assigned to the mine countermeasures ship USS Devastator (MCM 6) lower an Seafox mine hunting unmanned underwater vehicle in the Arabian Gulf during a training exercise to find mines at sea. Operation Neptune Scepter is a bilateral mine countermeasure exercise between the U.S. Navy and Royal Navy designed to increase tactical proficiency between mine-hunting units with focus on port re-entries, shipping lane safety, gunnery exercise and force protection.
