190928-A-DM672-1041 ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 28, 2019) Sailors assigned to the mine countermeasures ship USS Devastator (MCM 6) return to the Devastator after conducting a passenger transfer with the mine countermeasures vessel HMS Brocklesby (M 33) during Operation Neptune Scepter. Operation Neptune Scepter is a bilateral mine countermeasure exercise between the U.S. Navy and Royal Navy designed to increase tactical proficiency between mine-hunting units with focus on port re-entries, shipping lane safety, gunnery exercise and force protection.
