190929-A-DM672-1019 ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 29, 2019) Minemen Seaman Apprentice Montreal West, assigned to the mine countermeasures ship USS Devastator (MCM 6), lowers a Seafox mine hunting unmanned underwater vehicle into the Arabian Gulf. Operation Neptune Scepter is a bilateral mine countermeasure exercise between the U.S. Navy and Royal Navy designed to increase tactical proficiency between mine-hunting units with focus on port re-entries, shipping lane safety, gunnery exercise and force protection.
