NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 20, 2019) Lt. j.g. Kristine Gavino, from San Diego, USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) educational services officer, receives her Leadership Award presented by Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, during an awards at quarters ceremony in the ship's training complex.
