    Students of Officer Candidate School (OCS) class 03-20 at Officer Training Command, Newport (OTCN) in Rhode Island, don their self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) equipment for shipboard firefighting training on Oct. 24, 2019. Firefighting is one of five competencies that are taught to every officer at OCS. OCS develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly commissioned officers morally, mentally, physically and imbue them with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment in order to prepare graduates for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
