191026-N-PG340-1007 ENNIBUR, Marshall Islands (Oct. 25, 2019) Builder 1st Class German Dunlop, from Old Bridge, New Jersey, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Marshall Islands, excavates one of the eight holes designated for concrete columns for the Ennibur Evacuation Center. The evacuation center will serve as the island’s disaster preparedness building for the local community. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
