191031-N-PG340-1006 ENNIBUR, Marshall Islands (Oct. 31, 2019) Steelworker Constructionman Kyle Sprenkle (left), from Albany, Oregon, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Marshall Islands, ties one of many rebar grade beams with a local policeman for Ennibur Island for the pre-fabrication phase of the Ennibur Evacuation Center. The evacuation center will serve as the island’s disaster preparedness building for the local community. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
