191102-N-PG340-1002 ENNIBUR, Marshall Islands (Nov. 2, 2019) Kinere Ben (left), a local volunteer of Ennibur Island and Equipment Operator Constructionman Manuel Mendez Correa, from Memphis, Tennessee, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Marshall Islands, cut battle-boards that will be placed throughout the Ennibur Evacuation Center project to ensure that it is leveled throughout the project site. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
