Sergeant Stephen O'Connor, an intelligence specialist with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, plays with his 19-month-old son Jackson for the first time in seven months during the company's homecoming at Camp Margarita, June 9. O'Connor, from Denver, and approximately 90 Marines and sailors with the company returned following a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan. The rest of the battalion returned home in March due to the drawdown of coalition forces, while Company B remained behind to complete the battalion's mission in support of ISAF efforts.
