Nineteen-month-old Jackson O'Connor adjusts his pacifier while keeping a watchful eye out for his father, Sgt. Stephen O'Connor, an intelligence specialist from Denver with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, during the company's homecoming at Camp Margarita, June 9. O'Connor, ending his third combat tour, and approximately 90 Marines and sailors with the company returned following a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan. The rest of the battalion returned home in March due to the drawdown of coalition forces, while Company B remained behind to complete the battalion's mission in support of ISAF efforts.
