After finishing a fast paced five miles, future graduates of Warrior Leadership Course listen intently to a few words of wisdom from the XVII Airborne Corps sergeant major, Command Sgt. Maj. Roger Howard. "Getting to hear words from the top NCOs is something that won't be forgotten," said Sgt. Stephen Carey, Bravo Company, 2BSTB, 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, he also added, "This means a lot for future leaders, seeing the sergeants major lead for the front." Warrior Leadership Course is a 17-day course that trains specialists, corporals, and sergeants in the fundamentals of leadership.
