After finishing a motivational run with future Warrior Leadership Course graduates, Command Sgt. Maj. Roger Howard, the XVIII Airborne Corps senior enlisted non-commissioned officer spoke about leading by example, just the way all the sergeants major did by showing up to support their own soldiers during the run. Howard explained that all leaders should inspire and motivate young troopers to do ever better in their duties as a United States soldier. Warrior Leadership Course is a 17-day course that trains specialists, corporals, and sergeants in the fundamentals of leadership.
