    U.S. Navy Sailors AG3 Fuentes and AGAN Cook attached to Mine Countermeasures Division 31 (MCMDIV31) retrieve the Remus 100 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) system during the U.S. Northern Command exercise Arctic Edge 2020 (AE20) in Gastineau Channel, Juneau, Alaska. Expeditionary Mine Countermeasures is able to conduct the full find, analyze, and disseminate sequence in addition to the detect-to-engage sequence. The Arctic Edge exercise occurs every two years and provides the opportunity to hone current and test future applications of combat operations and weapons capabilities in Arctic and sub-Arctic environments. AE20 will have approximately 1,000 participants, including U.S. active duty, Reserve and National Guard component from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, as well as approximately 55 members from the Canadian Armed Services.
