U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Jacob Wimer cunducts metal surveys while conducting recovery operations in the Thua Thien Hue province of Vietnam. Wimer is an explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command. The Command conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
