Military Soldiers and medical professionals employ canopies as they stand ready to screen potential patients for symptoms of COVID-19 at a drive-through facility at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia, April 3, 2020. Fort Stewart and HAAF Garrisons, along with leaders of Winn Army Community Hospital, began conducting the screening to assist in mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic after the Military communities recently raised their Health Protection Condition levels. “This is our civic duty to help our community wherever we can, whenever we can, and this is how we’re answering our nation’s call,” said the screening operation’s noncommissioned officer in charge, 1st Sgt. Joseph Miller, who is also assigned to Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 41st Field Artillery Regiment.
