Sgt. 1st Class Felicia Fisher, a budget analyst non-commissioned officer with Third Army/U.S. Army Central, hands a small token of appreciation to Gary Torrence, a 22-year Air Force veteran, who is currently be treated at the Atlanta Veterans Administration Medical Center's nursing home care unit. Third Army adopted the Atlanta VA Nursing home, Oct. 17, which will include quarterly visits by volunteer Soldiers from the command. The Soldiers will assist nursing home attendants facilitating activities with the Veterans such as bed-side reading, games and gardening.
