In April of 2014, The Child’s Primary School in San Diego, Calif. painted Hawaiian Monchong to learn about Gyotaku which is an old Japanese tradition to paint a fish with sumi ink made from charcoal to transfer to rice paper. The event was the second part of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math initiative.
