Sgt. Jacob Eader, a Soldier assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 134th Field Artillery Regiment, secures posts for an urban farm project May 27, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio. Eader, who is a carpenter in his civilian job, and other 1-134th Soldiers have been supporting Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project supports the food bank’s access to fresh produce and will also be a site to provide community education and engagement on urban farming and agriculture.
