U.S. Marines with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), attach two blasting caps to a detonation cord at Demo Range 2, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, July 8, 2020. Detonation cord helps ensure the explosion of the ordnance after the fuse timer burns through, igniting the blasting cap. 3rd MLG provides III Marine Expeditionary Force comprehensive logistics and combat service support for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
