The Negative Pressurized Conex- Lite (NPC-L) is loaded onto a C-130 Hercules aircraft at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Aug. 7, 2020. The NPC-L, the first and only one of its kind to date, was built in response to COVID-19. It was delivered from Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan with an NPC-L Mobile Training Team from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to lead training for the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. The 379th EAES is among the first to receive training on this particular model. Once the NPC-L returns to Bagram, it will be made operational throughout U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility.
