Oregon Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Jesse Murray and Spc. Tyler Cade, both mechanics with the 224th Engineer Company work on the Dozer after noticing a problem at Camp Umatilla near Hermiston, Ore, August 6th, 2020. The mechanics were able to identify and begin work on the problem on-site with their contact truck designed to provide mobile mechanics support. The company created several miles of off-road trails for convoys and heavy vehicles to maneuver through the old storage bunkers on the 20 square mile training base. The conditions of these combat roads are similar to what would be constructed in a deployed environment.
