U.S. Marines with 3rd Transportation Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG) and U.S. Army Landing Craft Utility 2022 crew members offload tactical vehicles during a logistics exercise at Ie port, Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 21, 2020. During the exercise, Combat Logistics Regiment 3 and 9th ESB conducted Okinawa-based logistics training to hone critical capabilities and practice dispersed command and control while supporting III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) units throughout Okinawa. 3rd MLG provides III MEF comprehensive logistics and combat service support for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
