U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Brandon Adema, Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) noncommissioned officer in charge and Sioux Falls, South Dakota native, left, and Cpl. Bryanne Reynolds, a fire team leader with Bulk Fuel Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB), 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), and Monticello, Indiana native, drain a fuel tank cleaner at Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 25, 2020. During the exercise Bulk Fuel Company, 9th ESB set fuel lines and manned the stations for a FARP in support of UH-1Y Venom, AH-1Z Viper, and MV-22B Osprey aircraft with 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, and U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawks. 3rd MLG provides III Marine Expeditionary Force comprehensive logistics and combat service support for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
