The shelves of a Havelock, N.C., food bank are filled with donations given by Cherry Point personnel as part of the Feds Feed Families campaign. Since the beginning of the campaign, Cherry Point personnel have donated more than 4,500 pounds of non-perishable food to local food banks. The federal-wide food drive is in response to food bank shortages during the summer months as children are left without school nutrition programs.
