Wise visited MCALF Bogue to discuss the changes happening throughout Marine Corps Aviation. Wise is the Deputy Commandant for Aviation, serving as the principle advisor on all aviation matters and the principle spokesperson of Marine Corps aviation programs, requirements, and strategy throughout the Department of the Navy and the Department of Defense. The Harrier jet belongs to Marine Attack Squadron 214, which is a subordinate unit of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing based in Miramar, California.
