Julie Anderson, operations branch chief for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District, tours the Westport, operated by Manson Construction of Seattle, Wash., near Anchorage on Sep. 25. The Alaska District contracts the vessel to maintain mooring areas at the Port of Alaska which provides services to approximately 90 percent of Alaska’s population and receives about half of all goods entering the state.
