Petty Officer 2nd Class Stephen Allen and Petty Officer 2nd Class Keith Fox, crewmembers aboard the 225-foot U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Juniper, homeported in Newport, R.I., deploy containment boom around the Juniper and the CCGS Henry Larsen, a Canadian Coast Guard icebreaking ship, in preparation for refueling in Diana Bay, in northern Quebec, Friday, Aug. 24, 2012. The Juniper's crew is on an Arctic deployment to enhance interoperability with international forces and to provide the experience of working and responding to incidents in the harsh Arctic environment.
