A Soldier from Bushmaster Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), provides security on a door while Iraqi Army Soldiers search a house in the early morning hours Nov. 8, near the Bayji Oil Refinery. The U.S. Soldiers are now assisting the IA with searches as they sharpen their skills while taking the lead in combat operations in the area. The Bastogne Soldiers were conducting operations in the northern portion of the Salah ad Din province which correlated with 1st Armored Division operations during Operation Iron Hammer.
