Women’s history month is an annual celebration that showcases the contributions women have made in the United States and recognize the specific achievements women have made over the course of American history in a variety of fields. Dyess Airmen who have made impactful contributions to the Air Force will be highlighted throughout the month of March.
Airman 1st Class Samantha Heath is an administrator for the 7th Comptroller Squadron. As an administrator, Heath is responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of tasks and activities in support of her squadron commander. Since joining the U.S. Air Force, Heath has lead the first Dyess Diversity Week, a current member of the Dyess African American Heritage Committee and is the president of the 7th CPTS Booster Club.
“I try to impact those around me by staying positive and influencing my peers through volunteerism,” Heath said. “I also try my best to have the confidence to speak up for those that do not feel comfortable doing so themselves.”
