NORFOLK, Va. (July 15, 2021) – Attendees of the ceremony to declare Joint Force Command (JFC) Norfolk’s Full Operational Capability render honors during the U.S. National Anthem while the color guard parades the colors aboard amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) on July 15. JFC Norfolk stands as an operational embodiment of the Trans-Atlantic Bridge. JFC Norfolk will continue to maintain security of the strategic lines of communication between Europe and North America and provide deterrence to any potential adversary.
