A High Capacity Line of Site antenna, set-up by South Carolina National Guard from the 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade, towers above an improved tactical training base used during Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 14, 2021.
“The [High Capacity Line of Site] antennas take a minimum of four to five Soldiers to set up, and sometimes more to take down” said Spc. Bryant Boyd, an information technology specialist, from the 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade of the South Carolina National Guard. The 78th Training Division, in charge of this rotation of CSTX, intends for the exercise to prepare U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers for near-peer adversary environments. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt.
