Capt. Aaron Miley and Michael Maaninen, both from Honolulu District, talk to Army Reserve members installing a temporary power generator at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. Miley and Maaninen are supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assigned Temporary Emergency Power Mission as part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hurricane Recovery mission in southeastern Louisiana. Miley and Maaninen are serving as quality assurance for the generator team. The team’s goal is to oversee generator installation and generator inspections and maintenance.
