Capt. Aaron Miley and Michael Maaninen, both from Honolulu District, support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assigned Temporary Emergency Power Mission as part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hurricane Recovery mission in southeastern Louisiana. Miley and Maaninen inspect a generator at a water treatment plant in Donaldsonville, LA. The two are serving as quality assurance for the generator team. The team’s goal is to oversee generator installation and generator inspections and maintenance.
