    ESBJERG, DENMARK (April 6, 2022) Maj. Gen. James M. Smith, commanding general, U.S. Army 21st Theater Sustainment Command, talks with Denmark Maj. Gen. Wiggers Hyldgaard, chief of joint operations after the two observed interoperability in action: U.S. military vehicles offloading from a transit ship organized by the U.K. military that arrived at a Danish port. The equipment will be used by Soldiers in several countries under the command of the Army’s V Corps. V Corps is America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe and works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retain command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European theater such as the 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, 41st Field Artillery Brigade, and 4th Security Forces Assistance Brigade.
