Hans Knittlmeier, Senior National Representative with NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance Force, congratulates Master-at-Arms 1st Class Jocelyn Dennett after awarding her the Silver German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge at the end of a two-day event dedicated to earning the badge on Naval Air Station Sigonella, June 12, 2022. To qualify for the badge, participants had to compete in 100-meter swim in uniform, shuttle-sprints, 1,000-meter run, pull-up hang, marksmanship range and ruck march. NAS Sigonella’s strategic location enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to deploy and respond as required, ensuring security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Central Command.
