PACIFIC OCEAN (July 10, 2022) - An Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) with the 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, departs the well deck of amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23), July 10. ACVs used in amphibious operations amplify the Navy-Marine Corps team to operate in a realistic, combined-arms environment to enhance naval warfighting tactics, techniques and procedures.
