220917-N-PL946-1082 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 17, 2022) Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Kendell Blount carries the remains of a deceased service member as a member of the burial at sea detail aboard the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78). During the ceremony, the cremated remains of 30 souls were committed to the sea in the Atlantic Ocean.
